Burns Joinery provide a house extension building service across Glasgow and Central Scotland.

House extensions are a great option when you need more space but really don’t like the idea of moving somewhere else.  It can be surprising just how much space can be generated in almost any property, including converting the loft or adding an extension to the house.

Extensions are mostly commonly seen in single storey varieties and can add significant space to the house, depending on the amount of land at the rear of the property.  Building regulations don’t allow extensions on the front of a house, apart from porches, but you can go sideways, with building above an attached garage being another much-used option.

Depending on regulations you may also be able to add a two or more storey extension that matches the existing height of the house.  There are more regulations that apply to this style of extension but a qualified and experienced builder will be able to advice on this and see what options are available.

Being a qualified joiner and builder service, Burns Joinery can help with the information stage of the project as well as the actual renovation.
